The SA battery-powered wireless room sensor is a device that is part of the rTM SE system. It is installed directly in the room to monitor temperature and humidity, and is ideal for retrofit applications or sites where the infrastructure prevents cables from being laid. It transmits data on the temperature and humidity wirelessly to the Access Point using the ZigBee™ communication protocol; the Access Point is in turn connected to a CAREL supervisory system via Modbus® RTU over an RS485 serial link.
