EP  SE Wireless temperature sensor for cold rooms or showcases, battery.

The EP SE sensor (External Probe) is part of the Carel Wireless rTM SE (Remote Temperature Monitoring) system, used to monitor showcase and cold room temperature in supervised systems. The temperature measured by the sensors and the status of the digital inputs is sent via radio using the ZigBee protocol to the Access Point, in turn connected via RS485 Modbus RTU to a CAREL supervisory system. The sensor is installed on the showcases, and can accommodate two external temperature probes, NTC 10 K at 25°C ß=3435. The typical application is showcases with one sensor on the evaporator, plus one inside the compartment, together with two digital inputs to check the door and defrost status, or alternatively to control two showcases with one device.
